I can confirm reports that Tobin Anderson will be named will be named as the next head basketball coach at Tennessee Tech. I mentioned Anderson’s involvement here earlier today in the DAILY DIRT.
Anderson spent this season as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach at South Florida following a two-year stint as the head coach at Iona. Before his time with the Gaels, Anderson spent one season at FDU, where he famously led the 16 seed Knights to an upset of 1 seed Purdue in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
Anderson has also been the head coach at D2 St. Thomas Aquinas and D3’s Clarkson and Hamilton. He owns a career record of 448-241 (.650) in 24-seasons as a head coach.
