Former Kent State standout Jordan Mincy was hired as assistant men’s basketball coach at the University of Toledo by head coach Tod Kowalczyk today.
Mincy, 26, joins the Rockets after serving one season as an assistant coach at the College of Charleston under head coach Doug Wojcik and two years at his alma mater under head coaches Geno Ford and Rob Senderoff. One of the most instrumental floor leaders in Kent State history, he has quickly built a reputation as a well-connected and talented recruiter.
