Tommy Amaker Becomes All-Time Winningest Head Coach Basketball Coach at Harvard

Tommy Amaker, The Thomas G. Stemberg ’71 Family Endowed Coach for Harvard Men’s Basketball, became the all-time winningest head coach of the Crimson as Harvard bested Boston College, 74-66, Wednesday night at Conte Forum. Amaker earned his 179th win at Harvard, passing Frank Sullivan as the all-time leader. In his nine seasons as the head coach of the Crimson, Amaker holds a 197-99 record. The former Duke standout has also served as the head coach at Seton Hall (1997-2001), and Michigan (2001-2007) and owns a 355-239 career mark.
