Jon Korellis, who began his association with Towson men’s basketball last year as administrative assistant and video coordinator, has been named the program’s Coordinator of Operations, head coach Pat Kennedy announced.

Steve Lappas, former head coach at Manhattan, Villanova and Massachusetts who is now a college basketball analyst for College Sports Television Network (CSTV) is Jon’s godfather who has served as a major influence on his decision to pursue a career as basketball coach. Lappas and Jon’s dad, John, were teammates at CCNY in the late seventies.
