Drake announced on social media that three new men’s basketball assistants have been hired – all three have made the move from South Dakota State with new Head Coach Eric Henderson.
Former SDSU Associate head coach Rob Klinkefus, and assistants Tramel Barnes and Billy Brown are now part of the Bulldogs basketball staff. An official press release is also expected shortly.
Klinkefus had been on the Jackrabbits staff for the past 19 seasons, serving the past six as the associate head coach.
Barnes was in his second stint on the SDSU staff, following a three year run at Utah.
Brown had been on the Jackrabbit staff for five seasons, most recently as an assistant. He also spent three seasons as SDSU’s Director of Player Development and was previously a graduate assistant.
