Two Auburn Basketball Support Staffers Placed on Administrative Leave

The Auburn University Athletics Department released the following statement this morning:

“The Auburn Athletics Department has placed men’s basketball support staff members Jordan VerHulst and Frankie Sullivan on administrative leave until further notice based upon the University’s ongoing investigation into the men’s basketball program.”

VerHulst is in his fourth season on the basketball staff at Auburn. He was promoted to Special Assistant to the Head Coach this past off season after serving as the Video Coordinator for three years. Sullivan, who scored 1,556 points during his career at Auburn, replaced VerHulst as the Video Coordinator for the Tigers.

Auburn fired Associate Head Coach Chuck Person earlier this month following his indictment on federal bribery, conspiracy and fraud charges which are related to the current college basketball pay-for-play scandal.

No further details regarding the suspensions were provided by the school.
