Two UConn assistants resign

According to the Hartford Courant, UConn assistant coach Pat Sellers and director of operations Beau Archibald have resigned. Their resignations come before today’s press conference where UConn will announce an update on the NCAA investigation into possible recruiting violations. The notice of allegations from the NCAA stem from alleged recruiting violations first reported by Yahoo! Sports in March 2009. Sellers had been with the program for the past six seasons – three as an assistant, three as the director of operations. Archibald was hired in 2007 when Sellers was promoted.
