UAFS men’s basketball coach Josh Newman has announced the recent resignation of assistant coach Sam Belt. Belt recently signed a professional contract to play basketball for the Ringwood Hawks in Victoria, Australia. He previously played for the Hawks for one season after graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. Prior to joining Newman’s staff, Belt was a graduate assistant coach for two seasons at Central Oklahoma.
