The University of Maryland Eastern Shore has recently added Larry Roberson and Kassim Kaba as assistant men’s basketball coaches. They join fellow assistant coach CJ Council who was added to the staff over the summer.

Roberson had most recently been running a private training business while also working in the DC public schools. He played collegiately at D2 Nyack, and spent time in the IBL.

Kaba spent the last three seasons as an assistant at Raritan Valley Community College, where he played. Kaba also worked with the NJ Beasts (AAU).

Council had been an assistant at D3 Brooklyn College, and also served on the staff at Manhattan (2008-11), and as a GA at St. John’s (2006-08). Council also worked at NYC high schools Bishop Loughlin and Christ the King.
