Story: Adam Nelson (@HD_DirtKing)
Following-up on my cryptic TWEET from early this morning…I can confirm that the University of New Hampshire will hire former Bucknell head coach Nathan Davis as their new head coach.
Davis, who departed Bucknell on March 2nd to “pursue other opportunities”, went 129-115 (.529) in his eight seasons with the Bison. Additionally, Davis spent six seasons as the head coach at D3 Randolph-Macon College, where he went 141-39 (.783) from 2009-15. He also worked as an assistant in the Patriot League at Bucknell, Navy, and Colgate.
Davis will replace Bill Herrion, who went 227-303 (.428) in his eighteen seasons at UNH, and was not renewed back on March 14th.
I have heard that a press conference is scheduled for 1pm today to make the announcement.
