HoopDirt.com can confirm that University of Maine Director of Basketball Operations Moses Sonko is no longer with the program. I have heard that he departed due to a personal family issue.

Sonko was hired this past September after wrapping-up a ten-year professional playing career overseas in France, Angola and Israel. The former standout at Coastal Carolina had replaced Tom Barrett who took a similar position at Sacred Heart University late in the fall.

It is unclear at this time if his position will be replaced on Bob Walsh’s staff.
