Here are a few moves that took place recently that I just wanted to keep everyone updated on.

Towson has promoted Phil Cohen from DBO to assistant coach. Cohen spent 7 seasons as an assistant at Polk State College (FL) before joining the staff at Towson.

Joan Sanchez former head coach at Concordia College (NY) has accepted the position of assistant coach at Felician College. Sanchez, who left Concordia College last month for personal reasons, will become an official member of Coach Dave DeFerreri’s staff at Felician College within the next couple of days. He also serves as the editor of the Chamo Times newspaper and also covers Latin America and USA relations for several news outlets.

Hank Plona, who left the staff at Arkansas-Ft. Smith in September, has landed on his feet. He recently accepted an assistant spot at Indian Hills (IA) JC. Before UAFS, he was on the administrative staff at Providence.
