USA Basketball will host six Coach Academies in 2016 across the country. As part of its Youth Development mission, Coach Academies provide valuable education and insight on teaching the game of basketball to young players.
USA Basketball Coach Academies are presented in a multi-day format and teach the USA Basketball Player Development Curriculum to impart a proper skill development path while teaching the game to players. Additionally, higher-level guest speakers will focus on areas of expertise and lead on court demonstrations of X’s and O’s, skills and drills and off court coaching philosophy and life skills sessions.
