USA Basketball Youth Coach Academy is designed to provide coaches valuable insight and education on how to teach the game of basketball to young people, as well as how to implement fun, safe and feasible programming throughout various organizations. The Academy will be presented in a one-day format with a kickoff reception held either the night before or in the morning of the event. Coaches will learn the USA Basketball youth curriculum to impart a proper skill development path while teaching the game to players. Additionally, higher-level guest speakers will focus on areas of expertise and deliver sessions on best practices among coaches and trainers. Attendees will leave the academy with the opportunity to become USA Basketball Youth Development licensed coaches.
