According to an article in the LA Times, USC AD Pat Haden has given head coach Kevin O’Neill a vote of confidence and looks forward to having him return to the sidelines next season. There had been much speculation about O’Neill’s future after the Trojans suffered through a 6-26 season. USC did lose 5 players to season ending injuries this season. According to Haden, O’Neill graduates kids and the kids don’t get into trouble. Now we just have to play a better brand of basketball, and a more interesting brand of basketball."
It seems like he will have one more year to right the ship.
