The University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday that Cody Hopkins, who was on the staffs at North Texas and TCU during the last four years, is now an assistant coach for the Broncs men’s basketball team.
Hopkins was part of the administrative staff for the North Texas men’s basketball teams last season. During the previous the seasons, he was the Director of Operations at TCU, where he was responsible for the program’s overall budget, travel arrangements, summer camps and clinics in addition to the video exchange program. Hopkins helped the Horned Frogs to a winning record in 2011-12, as they went 18-15 and made it to the second round of College Basketball Invitational (CBI).
