The University of Texas-Pan American Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Thursday that Dan Hipsher, who had been the associate head coach at Alabama for the last four seasons, is the new Broncs men’s basketball head coach.

UTPA Athletics will introduce Hipsher to the media and the public in a press conference on Friday at 4 p.m. in the lobby of the Visitors Center in the Executive Tower on the UTPA campus.
