The staff at Vermont is complete. It has not been made official yet, but the assistants will be Chris Markwood, Matt O’Brien, and Kyle Cieplicki. Ari Shapiro-Miller will assume the DBO role. Markwood comes to UVM from fellow America East school Maine where he spent the past five seasons as an assistant. O’Brien was an assistant at UVM last season under Mike Lonergan and will continue in a similar role under new head coach John Becker. Cieplicki is a UVM alum who served as the Catamounts DBO last season. He had accepted a spot on the staff at Brown in May, but had a change of heart when he was elevated to assistant under Becker. Finally, Shapiro-Miller comes to Vermont from Bryant where he served as the DBO last season. Before that, he was an assistant at St. Michael’s College (VT). Expect an official release with in the next few days.
