Virginia Tech head men’s basketball coach James Johnson has announced the hiring of Andy Moore as Director of Men’s Basketball Operations.

Moore comes to Blacksburg following four years at Eastern Michigan University. Moore moved into game operations during the 2011-12 academic year after spending the three previous seasons as a full-time assistant coach at EMU. This was Moore’s second stint at EMU, as he served as the director of basketball operations from 2000-02.
