Wagner has narrowed its coaching search down to three. They will all meet with school officials this week and a decision could be made has early has this weekend. Below are the three finalists.
Danny Hurley- is the youngest of the finalist, played for his father at St. Anthony’s, then went on to star at Seton Hall, and was an assistant at Rutgers. Right now he is the head coach of national power St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark.
King Rice-fourth year Vanderbilt assistant who has coached at Providence, also stared at North Carolina.
Scott Spinelli- Is in his third year as associate head coach at Texas A&M, is a Northeast guy who graduated from BU and started his coaching career as the head coach at The Winchendon School in MA.
You would think the choice would be Hurley, he has so many ties to the area and would be a perfect fit here.
