Indian Hills CC today head basketball coach John Wardenburg has resigned. In a statement released by the school, Athletic Director Mike Hagen said: “I want to thank Coach Wardenburg for his service the past four years. We are grateful for his dedication and commitment to Indian Hills athletics and we wish him and his family well. A national search to replace Coach Wardenburg will begin immediately.”

In his only season as the head coach at IHCC, Wardenburg led his team to a 29-5 record and the Region XI Championship. He had spent three seasons as an assistant at the school before being promoted to head coach last spring.
