According to multiple sources, Bruce Weber has been offered the job at Southern Illinois. Weber, who was fired earlier this month after a 9-year run at Illinois, was the head coach at SIU from 1998-2003. Over than span, he led the Salukis to a 103-54 and two NCAA appearances. If Weber declines, it sounds like the next targets will be Southern Indiana head coach Rodney Watson, and Wisconsin assistant Greg Gard.
