Weekend Dirt – 9/8/12

It’s been a crazy week – nice to finally have all of our guys back on campus! Here are some things that I’ve heard…

• Bradley assistant Willie Bradley has resigned and will become the head coach at Chicago Dyett High School. He is a former Bradley point guard who has been on the Braves staff for the past two seasons. He has also been the head coach at Malcolm X. College (Chicago) from 2008-2010. A replacement is expected before the start of practice on October 12.

• I have heard that New Mexico State video coordinator Samson Kayode has accepted a gig with the Golden State Warriors. Kayode had been on the NMSU staff since 2010 and was a manager at Morgan State before that.

• It sounds like former Iowa State assistant Elwyn McRoy will land as an assistant at Stillman College. McRoy played at Cleveland State when current Stillman head coach Michael Grant was an assistant there. They also worked together at Southern. He would replace James Holland who departed for Western Michigan a few weeks ago.
