The Kilgore College Athletics department announced today that Jake White has been promoted to head assistant coach of the KC men’s basketball team.

White, a native of Longview, has served as an assistant basketball coach at KC since 2017. He takes over the position with the departure of Matthew Wilson who relocated last month to be with his family in Florida.

“Jake is an extremely hard worker and is well-deserving of this promotion,” said Brian Hoberecht, KC men’s head basketball coach. “We are fortunate to have Jake on our staff and a part of Ranger Nation.”
