According to multiple reports, and now confirmed by HoopDirt.com, Will Brown is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at Albany. He met with university officials earlier this morning and was informed of the decision.

Brown went 315-295 (.516) in his 20 seasons at Albany, which included 5 America East tournament championships and 5 NCAA tournament appearances. He was also tabbed as the AE Coach of the Year in 2015.

Brown becomes the second America East coach dismissed today, and Binghamton announced the departure of Tommy Dempsey earlier today.
