I have heard from a great source that Winthrop head coach Pat Kelsey will add DII Newberry College (SC) head coach Dave Davis to his staff.

Davis has been the head coach at Newberry for the past nine seasons where he has gone 143-113. Prior to that, he spent 14 years as the head coach at Pfeiffer College (284-124). Davis has also been the head coach at Barton College, and his alma mater Warren Wilson College – he owns 486 career victories.
