Montana Tech men’s head basketball coach Aaron Woliczko has announced his resignation. Woliczko, who came to Montana from the University of Pacific where he was an assistant coach, is moving back to California to work in his hometown of Santa Cruz. The Oredigger basketball team finished 15-15 overall this year in Woliczko’s third season at the helm. It was the best finish by a Tech men’s basketball team since 1999, Tech’s last Frontier Conference Championship.
Nothing has been determined at this time for a coaching search or replacement. The Montana Tech Athletic Department will review the men’s basketball program as it does with all of its programs after their seasons conclude.
