Coach Malcolm Wynn has been promoted to the position of Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach at New England College. Coach Wynn recently completed his second year with the Pilgrims & his impact has been unmistakable. The 2017-18 season included multiple firsts for the NEC Men’s Basketball program: winning its first-ever NAC Tournament Championship & advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in team history. The team also set a school record for most wins in a season(21) this past year.
“The promotion of Coach Wynn to Associate Head Coach is a result of the positive impact that he has made since joining our program,” said Coach Charlie Mason. Mason added, “Coach Wynn’s strengths as recruiter has played an integral role in our program’s competitive growth. Equally important, Coach Wynn’s capacity in building meaningful relationships and assisting our student athletes in growing on and off the floor has been invaluable.”
