Waiting for the official press release, but Wyoming has fired Allen Edwards today.

In four seasons with the Cowboys, Edwards went 60-76 (.441), but after winning 43 games in his first two years, he was only able to manage 17 in his final two seasons.

The Cowboys recently won their first two games in the Mountain West tournament (doubling their MW win total for the season), but apparently that was not good enough to save Edwards job. His team finished 9-24 (2-16) this year.
