According to creadible sources, St. John’s assistant coach Mike Dunlap is emerging as the leader for the vacant Wyoming job. Dunlap has been the associate head coach at Arizona and Oregon, spent time in the NBA as an assistant with the Nuggets, and went 248-50 in 9 seasons as the head coach at DII Metro State. This is his first season at St. John’s with Steve Lavin. My sources tell me that the interest the Billy Gillispie has shown in the job is not mutual, and that Wyoming is making a strong run at Dunlap.
