Zach Angelini named Director of Player Development/Assistant Coach at Pacific

The Pacific men’s basketball program announced the hiring of Zach Angelini as Director of Player Development/Assistant Coach.
 
Angelini spent the last two years as Assistant Coach at Carleton University. He worked under Taffe Charles who was Head Coach at Carleton. Angelini was part of Carleton’s national championship winning squad in 2022-2023.
 
“I am extremely excited to get to work with the players and staff at Pacific and contribute to Pacific’s historic basketball program,” Angelini said.
 
Before working at Carleton, Angelini was the head coach of Uplay Canada’s U15 Team and an assistant coach of the U17 Team on the EYBL circuit in the summer of 2022.
 
Angelini was the head coach at Lincoln Prep for three years from 2019-22. He previously served as a graduate assistant from 2016-18 at Nipissing University.
 
Angelini earned a Bachelor of Environment in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Waterloo in 2014 and a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing in 2018.
