ABOUT THE 2019 ELITE BASKETBALL ACADEMY AT HARVARD
Players attending the 2019 Elite Basketball Academy at Harvard will have the unique experience of spending one or two days on the Harvard University Campus. Campers will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of the Harvard Basketball coaching staff, in addition to dozens of other collegiate coaches from various prestigious academic institutions throughout the country.
The focus of the Basketball Academy at Harvard is to give campers an exposure opportunity for those interested in an elite academic and athletic collegiate experience. To ensure each player will have ample chances to be evaluated by our staff and other collegiate coaches in attendance, we have placed a limit on the number of available spots at the Academy.”
The Academy format will focus on 2-on-2, 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 live play segments with an emphasis on various breakdown actions such as Ball-screens, Penetrate & Kick, and Inside-Out post play.
BASKETBALL ACADEMY AT HARVARD DETAILS:
- Eligibility: Boys, grades 9-12. **Must be at least 16 years of age to stay overnight.
- Date: Session 1 = June 15; Session 2 = June 16
- Time: 9:00am – 7:00pm Daily
- Main Location for the Academy: Lavietes Pavilion, 65 North Harvard Street, Boston, 02163.

ABOUT THE 2019 YOUTH BASKETBALL ACADEMY AT HARVARD
Players attending the 2019 Youth Basketball Academy at Harvard will have the unique experience of spending three days on the Harvard University campus. Campers will have the chance to work directly with the Harvard Basketball coaching staff and players from the current team, in addition to learning from Head Coach Tommy Amaker.
The focus of the Academy will be to allow campers the opportunity to work on improving their overall basketball skill set in a positive and constructive environment. Players will work on developing their individual and teamwork skills through station work (e.g. ball-handling, passing, shooting, rebounding and defensive stations) and apply these skills during team game play each day of camp (teams will be grouped by age and ability).
In addition to working on improving their overall basketball skills each day, players will have the opportunity to learn from a member of the Harvard Basketball staff on a different topic each day.
