Two more head coaches have tested positive for COVID-19 as Missouri and UConn both made announcements today:

Missouri:

Head Coach Cuonzo Martin tweeted the following earlier today:

Encouraging everyone to stay safe during this holiday season. I’ve tested positive for Covid. Feeling well and thankful for our athletic training staff following protocol and keeping our team healthy. Our program is excited and ready to start conference play.

UConn released the following announcement regarding the head coach Bobby Hurley and the status of theor program:

The BIG EAST Conference has announced that the UConn at Xavier men’s basketball game, which was scheduled for Tuesday, December 28, has been canceled due to COVID issues within the UConn program.

The positive results received by UConn included head coach Dan Hurley, who is in isolation at home.

Announcements about future UConn events will be made in the coming days.
