Goucher College head men’s basketball coach Tom Rose has resigned that position.  He will remain at Goucher in a limited capacity through April 28.

Named just the second head coach in program history in April, 2015, Rose, a 1995 graduate of Goucher, recently wrapped up his eighth year and seventh season guiding the Gophers.  During his tenure, Rose coached three Landmark All-Conference honorees.

Rose compiled a 31-141 (.180) record during his tenure, including a 3-20 (1-13) mark this past season.

A national search for Rose’s successor will begin immediately.
