According to a report by Jeff Goodman, High Point is expected to hire Creighton assistant Alan Huss as their new head basketball coach. He would replace GG Smith, who parted ways with HPU back on March 3rd.

Huss has spent the past six seasons on Greg McDermott’s staff at Creighton, where he played from 1997-2001. He has also worked as an assistant at New Mexico (2014-17), and served as a prep school head coach at La Lumiere School, Culver Military Academy, and Decatur Christian.
