According to multiple reports, including one from Jon Rothstein, Dave Paulsen is expected to be named as the head basketball coach at Holy Cross.

Paulsen is familiar with the Patriot League, having spent seven seasons at league foe Bucknell (2008-15). He has also been the head coach at George Mason, Williams, LeMoyne, and St. Lawrence. He holds a 454-305 (.598) career record. Most recently, Paulsen has been on the staff at Fordham.

Paulsen will replace Brett Nelson, who was dismissed earlier this spring after four seasons with the Crusaders (27-84 – .243)
