Antonio O. Davis is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at NCAA D2 Central State University (OH).
Davis had been the Marauders head coach since 2020 – the team didn’t play during his first season due to Covid. In his three full seasons at the helm, Davis went 14-68 (.171), including a 3-25 (2-18 SIAC) mark this past year.
Prior to his time at CSU, Davis spent 16-seasons as a collegiate head coach on the women’s side, leading programs at Kentucky State, Livingstone, St. Augustine’s, and Elizabeth City State. Davis also spent time as a D1 assistant at South Carolina State and North Carolina Central.
An official announcement is expected shortly.
