Randolph College Basketball Staff Update

Head Men’s Basketball Coach Evan Kee has announced three additions to his coaching staff as he begins his first season with Randolph. They are Justin Dalton, Zamir Clifton, and Roderick Williams.

Dalton brings more than 20 years of coaching experience at various levels. He was previously the Associate Head Coach at Virginia Episcopal School for two stints in 2015-2016 and 2018-2022. During his time, VES was 2016 VISAA State Champions. He was a coach with Team Loaded in Richmond from 2015-2020. His 17U team in 2015 had a final ranking of #1 in the country and were National Champions. His 15u team was ranked #1 in 2019. Dalton also spent time at Hargrave Military Academy from 2016-2017 as an assistant coach. The team was National Prep Semifinalist posting a record of 44-2. He also has coaching experience at several local high schools. Dalton is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management-Athletic Administration from Liberty University.

Clifton is a 2022 graduate of Marymount University where he was a four-year member of the men’s basketball team. He was a captain and a four-time AEC All-Academic Team selection. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Health Science. He is currently studying for his Master’s Degree in Human Performance- Strength and Conditioning at Liberty. Clifton was an intern for the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Liberty.

Williams was recently the assistant varsity men’s basketball coach at Park Crossing High School in Montgomery, Alabama and the freshman head men’s basketball coach. During his time there, his teams were three-time area champs, three-time sub-regional champs, and two-time regional champs. Williams was an assistant coach at Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery from November 2019 to April 2020. He graduated from Alabama State University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education.

“I’m excited to have such a strong staff joining me this first season,” said Kee. “Each of them brings a skillset that will add value and help enhance our program. They are relationship-driven and will add tremendous value to our players and Randolph College.”
