Oakland head men’s basketball coach Greg Kampe has been suspended for Thursday’s game against Green Bay following an interaction with an official over the weekend. The Horizon League released the following statement:
Kampe’s confrontation with the official occurred after Kam Woods sank two of three free throws with one second remaining, securing a 73-71 victory for Robert Morris over Oakland on Saturday
Kampe is the second coach to be suspended by the Horizon League in less than a week. Back on 1/24, Youngstown State’s Ethan Faulkner was suspended for a game over his actions towards an official at the end of a previous game.
