Veteran head coach Jim Boone is no longer the coach at D3 Greensboro College. There has not been an official announcement by the college, but Boone has been 404’d on the website.
Boone took over at GC last April after a four year stint at Arkansas Ft. Smith. In his 39-seasons as a head coach at the D1, D2, and D3 levels, he put together a 619-499 (.554) record. During his career, he has taken his teams to 12 NCAA tournaments, including six Sweet Sixteen appearances and two Final Fours.
Assistant coach Michael McDuffie is now the only coach listed on the roster. He has been with the Pride since 2023, and was an assistant at High Point Christian Academy.
