D3 DIRT: UMHB to open at end of season

Story: Adam Nelson (@HD_DirtKing)

Following up on something that I teased on X earlier today…I can confirm that D3 University of Mary Hardin-Baylor head coach Clif Carroll will depart at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.

Carroll has spent the past five seasons at UMHB, where he has gone 98-33 (.748). His squad is currently 14-10 (3-5 ASC), and will travel to LeTourneau for a ASC Tournament match-up on Friday. Carroll’s best season with the Cru came back in 2022-23, when he led them to a 26-3 record and advanced to the round of 16 in the NCAA D3 tournament.

Carroll has also been the head coach at McMurry and Sul Ross State, and owns a 194-122 (.614) career record.

More on this story when it becomes official at the end of the season.
