REPORT: Bellarmine’s Davenport to retire

According to a Jeff Goodman / Field of 68 report, Bellarmine head men’s basketball coach Scott Davenport intends to retire.

Davenport has spent the past 20 seasons at Bellarmine, and oversaw their transition to D1 back in 2020. He has gone 426-197 (.684) during his tenure with the Knights.

Doug Davenport, who was named as the “coach in waiting” back in 2020, has been on his father’s staff since the 2016-17 season.
