Colin Richey, a member of the Holy Cross men’s basketball staff has been promoted to assistant coach/director of operations head coach Dave Paulsen announced on Monday.
“I’m excited to announce this well-deserved promotion for Colin,” Paulsen said. “He has worked tirelessly and effectively at the often-thankless tasks of the operations position. When the NCAA allowed additional staff to coach and recruit Colin jumped in and performed important coaching and recruiting functions. He has a tremendous basketball mind and an excellent rapport with all of our players. I’m looking forward to seeing Colin’s continued growth as a coach and am grateful for the positive energy he brings to our program on a daily basis.”
Richey will enter his third season on the staff at Holy Cross in 2025-26. Before his promotion, his primary responsibilities included heavy involvement in recruiting efforts, summer clinics and day-to-day office duties, in addition to serving as the team’s travel and video coordinator.
