I can confirm that Preston Ingram is no longer the head basketball coach at D2 Maryville University. He has been replaced on an interim basis by Lance Egnatz.
Ingram took over at Maryville back in 2024 after a five year stint as the head coach at Missouri Baptist. During his time at MBU, he went 92-54, but was not able to find the same success at Maryville. The Saints went 8-20 last season, and were just 2-14 so far this year.
Prior to joining the Maryville staff, Egnatz was an assistant and later interim head coach at Clayton State. He has also worked at Tennesee-Martin and Lincoln Memorial.
More on this once it becomes official.
