Phil Cunningham will be relieved of his duties as head coach of the ULM men’s basketball team, it was announced on Monday (March 9). Cunningham spent two seasons at ULM, the 2025-26 season as the head coach.
In the interim, associate head coach Derrick Zimmerman will be assuming the task of leading the men’s basketball team.
A national search to fill the position of ULM head men’s basketball coach is underway.
