I can confirm that D2 Malone University head coach Charlie Wallrapp will join Matt Majkrzak’s staff at Northern Illinois. Wallrapp, who took over at Malone in 2023, previously served as Majkrzak’s associate head coach at Northern Michigan. He also has assistant coaching experience at Clarke and Kansas Wesleyan.

Pro tip: Wallrapp may not be the only D2 head coach to join the NIU staff. Stay tuned…
