According to a Pete Thamel report, Troy is finalizing a deal with Adam Howard to become their new head men’s basketball coach.

Howard, a former assistant at Troy (2016-18), spent last season on Will Wade’s staff at NC State. He has also worked at Nebraska, South Alabama, Tennessee, Southern Miss, and Morehead State.
