A bunch of small college search updates…
NCAA D2 Northern Michigan
Names making the rounds here include Green Bay assistant Keli Ganz, Old Dominion assistant Ryan Nadeau, and an NJCAA D2 head coach. Before joining the Green Bay staff, Ganz was the associate head coach at Northern Michigan. Nadeau is a Michigan State alum who has also worked at Virginia Tech.
NCAA D2 American International College
I have heard that on campus interviews are underway here with five finalists. It sounds like two interviews are complete, two more this week, and one the week after. Working on name, but from what I’ve heard, it sounds like there is a former D1 head coach in the mix, along with two current D1 assistants. Also, as a point of clarification, former Bryant head coach Jared Grasso is not in play here.
NAIA Montana Western
I can confirm that on campus interviews will take place this week. Sounds like 3ish finalists here and they may all be Montana Western alums. I have heard that Montana Tech associate head coach Tyler Miller will interview as will as one other sitting NAIA head coach. Miller has been at Montana Tech since 2020, and was an assistant at Central Arkansas before that. A bit of an odd search as the AD search is going on as well. The final two AD candidates will interview at the end of the week – Cole Bauer (associate AD at Bemidji St) interviews on Thursday, and Jason Ferris (local banker) interviews on Friday.
NJCAA D1 Highland CC (IL)
I mentioned Ball State assistant John Clancy here a few weeks ago. It also sounds like Idaho State assistant Devin Kastrup needs to be added to this list. He has been at ISU for the past two seasons and was the head coach at Cloud County CC before that.
NCAA D3 Alvernia (PA)
I had an update on the search at Alvernia in Sunday’s Daily Dirt. I have now heard that La Salle assistant Mike Doyle should be added to this list. He has been at La Salle for the last seven seasons, and played at D3 Cabrini (PA).
NCAA D3 Geneva College (PA)
Zoom interviews here wrapped up late last week. I have heard that there are three finalists who will all be on campus during the week of April 13th.

Chasing a possible NJ D3 opening with head coach taking a D1 assistant job.
Mentioned this one on Sunday, but a monster NAIA is opening. Stay tuned…
