I can confirm that D2 Alaska Anchorage is set to hire Cameron Turner as their new head men’s basketball coach.
Turner, who is currently the head coach at NJCAA D1 Eastern Arizona College, served as an assistant at Anchorage from 2011-17 and was part of a program that went 116-60 during that span. In his four seasons at EAC, Turner has gone 95-32, including a 19-12 record this season.
Turner will replace Rusty Osborn, who announced his retirement back on 2/23 after 22-seasons as the Seawolves head coach.
An official announcement here is expected tomorrow.
