According to multiple reports, Michigan head coach Dusty May is expected to be named as the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks.

May went 64-13 in his two seasons at Michigan, and led the Wolverines to the 2026 NCAA National Championship. Prior to his time at UM, May spent six years as the head coach at Florida Atlantic, leading them to the 2023 Final Four and capturing the CUSA Coach of the Year award following the Owls 35-4 campaign.
